Berlin Food Tour
Tour Details
What does Berlin taste like? At the designated time, we'll meet at the Das Lemke restaurant to answer this question and start our food tour of the German capital.
During the tour, you'll discover Berlin's historical wealth and cultural variety through its cuisine. First, at our meeting point, we'll try Bauernfrühstück, a traditional breakfast that includes a fried mix of potatoes, onion, bacon, and eggs.
Then, we'll head to REWE, a typical German supermarket. Here, we'll share the history of Fritz-Kola, a soft drinks brand created by two university students in Hamburg that has become an icon in Germany.
Our culinary journey of Berlin will continue at the Fish&Chips Hauptbahnhof restaurant, where you'll try a crispy fish sandwich. Inspired by the British fish and chips dish, but with a local touch, this snack is a Berlin favorite.
Next, we'll take you to taste the most popular fast food in the city: currywurst. At the Curry 61 restaurant, we'll be served these sausages bathed in ketchup with curry. Did you know this is what Berliners get after a night out?
To wrap up our food tour on a high note, we'll enjoy a sweet ending at SammyS Berliner Donuts. Here, you'll try the German version of this jelly donut. Soft, sugar-coated, and filled with fruit jam, you'll love this treat!
Finally, at this last spot, we'll conclude this 2.5-hour tour.
